19th Anniversary Show featuring

Fort Hayes High School Students & Alumni

This year for our 19th Anniversary Show we are combining "Concentration 13" and an "Alumni Spotlight" exhibitions. Historically, the ‘Concentration’ exhibits (since 2008) have showcased Advanced Placement sophomore, junior and senior high school art students who are engaged in creating individual series of works throughout the school year, each concentrating on one specific chosen focus. This structured exercise helps students to have a cohesive body of work and a portfolio for those going on to choose art as a major or minor on the college level. Many students who have created artworks exhibited in this annual show at Sean Christopher Gallery over the years, under the direction of Teresa Weidenbusch, longtime Fort Hayes art teacher and the school’s Shot Tower Gallery director, have gone on to receive scholarships to attend schools such as the Columbus College of Art & Design - CCAD, Maryland Institute College of Art - MICA, School of the Art Institute of Chicago - SAIC, and others.
